New supporting member: University of Eastern Finland
We are delighted to announce that the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) has joined Open Knowledge Maps as a supporting member. UEF is the first Finnish organisation to join Open Knowledge Maps.
The University of Eastern Finland Library is a public scientific library open to everyone who is seeking information. As a public academic library we are offering library and information services especially for the university staff and students. Our main functions are to support teaching and learning and to support research and publishing.
Ari Muhonen, Library Director, outlines the reasons for becoming a member:
"As a promoter of all the university's strategic goals in research, teaching, continuous learning and open scientific communication, we share a commitment with Open Knowledge Maps to open science and transfer knowledge beyond academia." Ari Muhonen, Library Director, University of Eastern Finland (UEF)
We warmly welcome UEF, and kindly invite further organisations to join and shape the future of discovery together with us. Find out more about the supporting membership program.
